I’ve created an illustrated guide to help you measure yourself correctly. You’ll need a measuring tape and possibly a friend to help you out

RIBCAGE CIRCUMFERENCE
Place the measuring tape around your ribcage making sure it sits right above your breasts but below your armpits

BREAST CIRCUMFERENCE
Measure this area by wrapping the tape around your ribcage and make sure it passes through the largest part of your breasts

WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE
Measure the smallest part of your waist
-don’t hold your breath
-leave the tape loose and it will fall in the correct place

HIP CIRCUMFERENCE
Place the tape around the widest part of your hips making sure the tape remains aligned horizontally

SHOULDER WIDTH
From behind measure the distance between your shoulders from one humerus to the other

SHOULDER SEAM
Measure the distance between the base of your neck and the tip of your shoulder

SLEEVE LENGTH
With your arm bent start by placing your measuring tape at the top of your shoulder and let it run all the way to your wrist

HEAD HEIGHT
Measure the distance between the highest point of your head and the base of your neck

ARMPIT HEIGHT
Wrap your measuring tape around your ribcage, making sure to place it under the armpit cavities and above the breasts. With the remaining part of the tape measure the distance between where it lands in the middle of your back and the bottom of your skull

BREAST HEIGHT
Place the measuring tape at the base of your neck, starting from behind. Let it drape over your shoulder all the way to the center point of your breast

WAIST HEIGHT (FRONT)
Starting at the base of your neck let the tape drape over your shoulder and breast (as done for the breast height measurement) and measure down to where your would like your garnment to end

WAIST HEIGHT (BACK)
Measure the distance between the nape of your neck and your waist
The nape your neck is the most protruding vertebra at the bottom of your neck (cervical A7)

HIP HEIGHT
Measure the vertical distance between your waist and your hips

GARMENT LENGTH
While standing, measure vertically from your waist going down your leg until you reach the desired length for your garment

BREAST DISTANCE
Measure the distance between the center of each of your breasts

RISE HEIGHT
While sitting on a hard surface measure the vertical distance between your waist and the surface you are getting on.
